CASTLE announces plans for 15th annual Holiday Magic

FORT PIERCE — More than 300 people attended Holiday Magic last year, and the sold-out event set a record for monies raised at this annual fundraiser for CASTLE, a local child abuse prevention and family education organization.

Plans are in the works for this year’s event, and projections for donations, attendance and fun are high. This year’s planning committee is off and running after its first meeting and looking for sponsors, silent and live auction items, wine for the wine tree and event attendees.

Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree, the theme for this year’s Holiday Magic, will be held Nov. 19, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Jaguar Land Rover Treasure Coast Showroom on U.S. 1 in Fort Pierce.

There are already some exciting items up for bid in this year’s auction. The crown jewel of the event will be a one-year lease on a shiny new 2012 Jaguar XF, donated by Jaguar Land Rover Treasure Coast. There will also be a mega jewelry drawing: for $25 a ticket, purchasers will be eligible to win one of a dozen high-end jewelry pieces.

No need to be present to win. Pre-sale tickets can be purchased at CASTLE. Drawing for the jewelry will take place at the event and winners notified.

Guests will be treated throughout the evening to a gourmet dinner from Carrabba’s Italian Grill and appetizers and desserts from area restaurants. Everyone will enjoy a unique beer and wine tasting compliments of Southern Eagle, music and dancing by Traxx Entertainment and much more.

A very exclusive silent auction will be held with bidders vying for golf outings to some of the area’s most pristine golf courses, one of a kind artwork, park passes, gift certificates for holiday gift giving and more.

The live auction will include CASTLE’s exclusive “Wine Tree” with 100 bottles of wine from around the world and luxurious vacation packages, as well as CASTLE’s signature designer decorated holiday trees.

Reservations to Holiday Magic may be purchased for $75 per person or $125 per couple (until Nov.1, at which time the price per couple will be $150). Table sponsorships for a table for 10 are still available at $1,000 and include event recognition.

Because this year’s event includes a sit-down dinner, seating will be limited to the first 250 pre-registered guests. Interested parties should visit CASTLE’s website at castletc.org or call early to ensure seating. For tickets and sponsorship, call Pam Madden at CASTLE at (772) 465-6011, extension 228 or e-mail her at pmadden@castletc.org.

All proceeds from this event will benefit CASTLE’s programs for the education and prevention of child abuse. The event is sponsored in part by Jaguar Land Rover Treasure Coast, Island Party Rentals and Traxx Entertainment.
